Afterschool Enrichment Programs

Our afterschool enrichment program offers a dynamic and interactive learning experience that extends beyond the standard public school curriculum. Our program is dedicated to empowering youth with the tools to make informed decisions, think critically, and develop independence. By providing exposure to life skills and knowledge often overlooked in traditional education, we help students navigate conflict resolution and enhance their cognitive development. Our virtual afterschool program specifically targets learning loss in core academic subjects, ensuring that youth stay on track with grade-level skills and successfully navigate their school journey. Our diverse curriculum includes courses, workshops, and virtual learning opportunities in horticulture, nutrition, health, social studies, science, math, STEAM, and essential life skills, all designed to cultivate well-rounded and confident individuals.

Healthy Communities

We aim to empower individuals and organizations to prioritize their health and well-being through a holistic approach to nutrition, physical activity, and overall lifestyle choices. By focusing on the importance of nourishing the body, mind, and soul, we aim to foster positive habits, enhance overall wellness, and improve quality of life.
Our Healthy Living Program is conducted throughout the academic year, with regular sessions held during school hours for students. For adults, sessions are organized in the evenings or weekends to accommodate their schedules. The program will be offered both in-person and virtually for groups, ensuring accessibility for all participants.

Environmental Sustainability

Urban gardens provide opportunities for individuals and communities to grow their own fruits, vegetables, and herbs. This access to fresh and locally grown produce helps address food insecurity and the social determinants of health in communities by promoting healthier eating habits and contributing to improved nutrition. Urban gardens contribute to environmental sustainability in multiple ways. They promote biodiversity by providing habitat for pollinators and other beneficial insects. Additionally, they can reduce carbon emissions associated with transportation, as locally grown food requires less travel distance from farm to table.
