We convert empty lands into flourishing urban gardens!

We are on a noble mission to create thriving, healthy, and productive communities that prioritize the well-being of both people and the planet. Our dedication to fostering a sustainable future drives every aspect of our work, as we empower individuals to take collective action for positive change. We want to be the catalyst that transforms neighborhoods into vibrant hubs of well-being and environmental stewardship. We picture a world where communities come together as a collective force, transcending boundaries to build a sustainable, interconnected global society.

Our Gardenergetic program aims to convert empty lands in urban areas or food deserts into vibrant vegetable gardens that will provide fresh produce to local communities, promote sustainable living, and improve the environment while also fostering a sense of community engagement and creating safe spaces where people can connect, learn, and grow. Through these projects, we hope to address issues such as food insecurity and social determinants of health in communities, lack of green spaces, and unsustainable land use practices.

Each Gardenergetic project is unique and involves a thorough assessment of the community and site, to determine the best growing conditions and guarantee that the garden is designed for maximum productivity and sustainability. We take into account factors such as the needs and culture of the community, soil quality, water access, sunlight exposure, and using organic/non-GMO seeds, to plant a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs to promote biodiversity and healthy eating.

To ensure ongoing community involvement and maintenance of our Gardenergetic projects, we work with community and corporate groups to organize team-building volunteer/project event workdays. Working together with corporate groups to maintain urban gardens can be a win-win for everyone involved.

We benefit from the manpower and support to enhance the project, the community benefits from the creation of green spaces and access to fresh produce, while the companies benefit from the positive team camaraderie, health and wellness aspects of their environmental stewardship. This also helps our groups to foster a sense of community ownership and pride while better connecting to the communities they serve.
